Gordon Vick (Gordy) was a local business owner and beloved community member of Lewiston. Along with his wife, Gloria, he owned the local livestock auction market, Lewiston Sales, Inc. Gordy’s wish was to have a tractor ride during Heartland Days in 2009. He never got to see that dream come true because he passed away unexpectedly in December 2008.
His family decided to honor his memory and hosted the first Gordy Vick Memorial Tractor Ride in 2009. Join us as we continue to honor his legacy at the 16th annual Gordy Vick Memorial Tractor Ride on June 23rd. Everyone is welcome!
The tractor ride will begin and end at Lewiston Sales, Inc. The parade of tractors begins at 10:00AM west down Main Street, then south on Fremont Street, and out of town for a fun-filled ride on country roads. A free lunch will be served after the ride at the sales barn.
T-shirts, caps, and sweatshirts will be available for purchase ahead of time at the barn office and the day-of before the tractor ride starts. Space will be available on hay wagons for those who don’t have a tractor to drive. We hope to see you all there!
Come Enjoy,
Gordon Vick Family
